Chapter Philanthropy and Service

The national philanthropy of Zeta Tau Alpha is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Every year, ZTAs around the country devote countless hours to raising money for the fight against breast cancer through education, awareness, and research. “Think Pink” is a registered trademark of Zeta Tau Alpha. Since 1999, ZTA also has maintained a partnership with the NFL.  Alumnae and collegiate members have worked with 32 NFL teams and have distributed over one million ribbons to professional football fans across the nation.

During October, our chapter holds our fall philanthropy called Pink Week in which members of several organizations, our families, and the Blacksburg community participate in. The events of Pink Week include our annual Big Man on Campus pageant, our More than Miles 5K, donation booths, percentage nights, and more. All of the proceeds made from each of these events are donated towards breast cancer education and awareness benefitting the fighters, the survivors, and those taken of this disease.
